All Twin Ports area kids are invited to get artsy with the help of their parents at the fifth annual Art in Me festival. The festival consists of a series of 16 booths where children can make a variety of masterpieces to take home. The event also features live music and group dances, puppeteers, and clowning.
The event is put on by the nonprofit Duluth and Beyond to support families and children as they discover their given gifts of artistic expression.
This year the list of art projects includes leather name tags, face painting, cookie decorating, charcoal drawing, assembling contact paper nature collages, T-shirt painting, printmaking, photography, watercoloring, making crazy hair, clay animals, pine cone bird feeders, musical instrument shakers and birch bark art.
