The Marriage Amendment Theatre Project is a Duluth community inspired and written short play to educate and motivate audience members to become active and vote "no" and help support Minnesotans United for All Families’ efforts to defeat the amendment.
Sign up in advance for a 10 minute audition slot by calling the director, Angie Frank, at 218-349-0354 or sign up in person on the night of auditions. There are no callbacks.
They will be casting 6-8 male and female actors who can play the 30 to 60+ age range.
Prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue of your choice and a 30 second song segment of your choice to be sung a cappella.
They will also provide you with an excerpt of the script to read.
The rehearsal and performance schedule is August 13-17, 6 to 9 p.m.; August 18, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and August 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will prepare and perform the show in one week.
