Daniel C. Boyer, an artist from Houghton, Michigan, opens his solo exhibition "Dreams and Politics" at Washington Gallery.
Boyer’s work is primarily influenced by surrealism and various methods developed by the surrealists. “I start at many points but I think the end point is always a horizon over which lie more imaginative possibilities,” says Boyer.
The exhibit includes drawings and paintings in a variety of media. His abstract artwork reflects nightmare and reverie, playing over a wide range of political history.
