The Free Range Film Festival is the farm-fresh alternative to stale cinema. Films are screened inside a big old barn in the heart of Minnesota's organic farm country, 909 County Road 4 in Wrenshall.
Day two of the festival is the kick-off to Zinema 2’s “Minnesota Stories” film series with a screening of Louis Malle’s 1985 documentary on Glenco entitled God’s Country. The weekend’s features end with Minnesota filmmaker Stephen Gurewitz’ Marvin, Seth & Stanley on Saturday evening. The festival coordinators promise that anyone showing up in a fisherman’s hat gets a free diet, caffeine-free Sierra Mist.
