Focus Topic: Putting your garden to bed for the winter. We'll look at ways to shape your garden bed to work with the terrain, ways to build soil fertility and control weeds using the sheet mulching method, as well as planting garlic. Enjoy and open air One Vegetable, One Community beet cooking demonstration on site.
Meet at the Damiano office (206 West 4th Street) 10 minutes before the start of class and carpool to the site from there. Garden site addresses can also be found on the DCGP website, but be forewarned that some are tricky to find!
