VENUES WITH EVENTS

The Duluth-Superior Quaker Meeting will host presentations on the Voter ID and Marriage Amendments to the Minnesota constitution, which will appear on ballots in November’s election. Gay Trachsel, of the League of Women Voters, will speak on the Voter ID amendment at 7:30 p.m. Gary Anderson, of Minnesotans United for All Families, will speak on the Marriage Amendment at 8:15. Discussion will follow each presentation. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, 1802 East First Street, in Duluth. Refreshments will be served. Doors open at 7 p.m.
