Fishing begins at 8 a.m. on the St. Louis River in Duluth. Registration is $35 or $40 after June 14. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Duluth. $20,000 in prizes will be given away.

Churches United in Ministry's ninth annual Rhubarb Festival promises lots of rhubarb -- including hundreds of pies, muffins and crisps, as well as rhubarb brats and burritos. The featured musician will be Claudia Schmidt. The celebration happens at 11th Avenue East and London Road near Leif Erickson Park.
