Lake Superior Art Glass One Year Anniversary Celebration will have prizes, drawings, discounts, demos, free classes, food and drink, live music and more.

The opening reception for this exhibit of 15 portrait paintings by Anne Labovitz will feature music by Sound of Strings and a cash bar. Labovitz is a full-time professional artist who lives and works in St. Paul. The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 11.

This summer-long exhibit features artwork by Robert Porkorney, an avid surfer in both Duluth and California, who depicts the source of his recreation and enjoyment through paintings of Lake Superior and the Pacific Ocean. The exhibit also features the ceramic wall installations of Liz James, who draws on the glistening shimmer of light on water for her three-dimensional visions.
